Help! I’m addicted to social media!

Have you ever said “I just seem to have an addictive personality”?  Many of us have although that does not lead us to search out the nearest rehab – indeed most of us notice our addictive cycles around many things other than, or along with drugs and alcohol.  If you can’t stop checking your phone, eating cookies, or indulging in any other form of unfavorable behavior…then guess what? You’re completely human!

Being completely human too, I often need some sage support on my spiritual path. Sometimes I do so well! And sometimes I can fall back into old unhealthy patterns which always results in my beating myself up.  When I find something that helps I like to share it.

If you would like a new perspective on how to really grow rather than slipping and sliding on your own best intentions, whether you are in recovery or not, the Yoga of Recovery workshop will offer you new tools for self-understanding and care. You’ll leave the workshop with an understanding of how to take the energy used up in maintaining, justifying and wrestling with addictive personalities and transform it to deepen your understanding of your life, embodied self and purpose.

Come join Durga Leela and I at Yoga of Recovery and learn behavioral health care techniques from both Yoga and Ayurveda to improve your health and serenity one day at a time.
